Q. Do you ship wine to my state?
A. Wine laws have changed for many states over the past few years making it easier to ship wines to you from California. However, please visit our State Regulations page for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding your own state.
 
Q. How do you determine shipping costs?
A. Shipping costs are determined automatically through the shipping calculator when you purchase products. All items are weighed in advance and when you enter your ship to address, the calculator shows you what you'll pay when you checkout. Of course, you can always cancel your order before you are finished. No charge will result on your credit card.
 
Q. If I don't see a wine listed on your site, does that mean you will never sell it?
A. You are more than welcome to recommend a product. Just drop us an e-mail to sales@winepalate.com.
 
Q. Will you ship wine or wine decanters to a foreign country?
A. While winepalate will sometimes ship glassware and decanters to places like Australia and Canada, we will not ship any alcoholic beverage to a foreign country.
 
Q. My wine was damaged during shipping. Can I return it for a replacement?
A. Winepalate.com will fully reimburse your purchase if it is returned corked and in original condition, within ten days of sale. If your product was damaged during shipping, we will replace it and settle with our shipper, as long as your request falls within the ten day window. Q. I am thinking of throwing a wine-tasting party at my home. How much do you charge? I live in Ohio.
A. Winepalate is a Southern California company and can only accommodate you in our immediate area. However, we will be happy to help you with a few suggestions.
 
Q. If I purchase a product with a credit card and you don't have it in stock, what will happen?
A. We will immediately notify you if we are out of stock on a product. If you choose to wait, we will deliver it to you as soon as it is available. If not, we will immediately refund your credit card purchase in full.
 
Q. Do you keep my credit card information on hand?
A. Absolutely not! Winepalate keeps no credit card information once a purchase has been completed. This is now a mandatory practice for credit card merchants.
 
Q. Why do you need my e-mail address during a purchase?
A. Your e-mail address is required so that we can communicate with you regarding your purchase. You will receive your only copy of the bill by e-mail and we will use it to send you occasional cyber-circulars regarding special wine offerings. You can opt-out of our cyber-circular at any time and we do not share you personal information with anyone else!
 
Q. Do you sell wine in smaller bottles? I can never finish a large bottle before the wine gets bad.
A. We highly recommend that you purchase the WineLife Preservation spray. It is inexpensive and very effective at preventing your wines from oxidizing.
