This beautiful new line consists of 5 pairs of different sizes and each bowl is developed for the enjoyment of popular grape varieties.

Tyrol is executed in lead crystal which gives to the solid base a never ending sparkle and great stability.

The name Tyrol commemorates Riedel’s new start 50 years ago in Austria in the federal State of Tyrol.

An exquisite gift no lover of wine should be without!

Why is shape so important, and does it really make a difference?

The shape is responsible for the flow of the wine and consequently where it touches the various taste zones of the tongue. As you put your wine glass to your lips, your taste buds are on alert. Once the tongue is in contact with the wine, three messages are transmitted at the same time: temperature, texture & taste.

The initial contact point depends on the shape and volume of the glass, the diameter of the rim, the thickness of the crystal, as well as its finish -whether it is cut and polished or has a rolled edge.
